I liked Tell me it’s Real, but I loved this one. And I’m usually not even a big fan of crossdressing of any kind in my books. But Sandy was awesome!
The humor in this was always ‘on’ (not always a good thing in my book), but there were a few scenes that were so funny, that I was literally rolling on the floor laughing. Those scenes made this book.
“I’m going to fill your trunk with my spunk.”
“Holy shit, stop rhyming!” he whisper-shouted at me, eyes wide, hands still clapping together.
“I can’t help it! It just happens sometimes.”
“I’m trying. No one is good at dirty talk unless you’re in porn. It’s fucking impossible!”
“Holy fuck!” he yelled. “I’m getting close. Come on, fuck me like you mean it!”
“Yeah!” I screeched back. “I’m going to fuck you so hard, I’m going to get you pregnant!”
Could. Not. Stop. Laughing.
The funny moments in this were worth it, but I did have a bit of an issue with the way the relationship between Sandy and Darren developed. Or not developed.
Sandy and Darren were fighting for most of this book. Even though it was funny and hilarious, I kind of wanted them to sit down and talk to each other. It made me a bit sad that there was so much anger. It was tiring. But also funny. I still feel a bit torn about this.
Overall I had a really good time reading this, even though the relationship was a bit tiring at times.
