Past Perfect

Past Perfect - Leila Sales The book was well written, let me start with that. I think Leila Sales could write great books. This just wasn't it for me...

What I really dislike in books is when the main characters have a big fight or betray each other. I cannot seem to forgive the characters after that.
This book is no exception. Chelsea started as some what of a nice character to me, but after half of the book I started questioning her judgement. The 'war' was very serious to her and everyone working at Essex, but I thought it was a bit too much. And her so called friends at Essex... no real friends. But Chelsea really wanted to fit in and betrayed Dan just so that people would like her. I lost all respect for her after that.

So I gave the book 2 stars because the writing was good, but the story wasn't.
