Brothers In Arms

Brothers In Arms - Kendall McKenna The one thing that comes to mind while thinking about this book is, thank God it is so short!

I am not even sure how to review this book. It had potential, it really did. I liked Jonah and Kellan and I love marines! But this was not a story, or a romance. This was a bunch of military jargon disguised as a story. I love when my men talk military shit, but this was too much. The entire story consisted of IED's, OIF's, oscar-mike's and so on so on... It was confusing as hell!
And the story itself was absolutely terrible. Kellan doesn't even make an appearance until halfway through the book, in a book of 90 pages (on my e-reader)!
There is no real interaction between Jonah and Kellan. We get that they already know each other and shared a night of passion several years ago. But still, no build-up, no tension, no sex (except for the memory of their night), no declarations of love....
Just one confusing story about something happening in Iraq involving the FBI, the military, treason and some other stuff I don't really remember...

I hope the other 2 books will be better, because I have read soms raving reviews for book 3 and I thought I give it a go with the other books as well. It better be worth it...
