Even though I’m a big fan of all things BDSM, this was not my kind of book. I love the D/s roles and even when my MC’s want to switch things up a bit, I’m fine with it. But this simply felt wrong. Malcolm was trying to be a Dom, but he really wasn’t. I would have been okay with it if he just admitted it and let it go. But this was a back and forth contest about who is the dominant one. It was like watching a tennis match. It was confusing and I didn’t like it.
I did like Owen and his extreme friendliness. But Malcolm was a bit of a dick. Even when he came around I had trouble liking him.
So 3 stars it will be.
