Tell Me It's Real

Tell Me It's Real - T.J. Klune What I liked:

I loved Paul and his awkwardness. Finally, an MC who was not perfect nor had the ‘perfect’ body! I liked how Paul was REALLY awkward. He said things that were pretty horrible. And I loved him for it.

I liked Vince. He was sweet. His view of the world was awesome.

What I didn’t like:

The humor was a bit much for me at times. Don’t get me wrong, there were scenes that had me laughing my ass off
(”You a pony, son?”), but sometimes it was just a bit too forced.

And what bothered me the most about this book was the sudden angst near the end. It was so incredibly unrealistic. I didn’t buy it for a minute that sweet Vince acted the way he did. It felt so wrong, it got me mad.

This is a sweet story with some very funny moments, and I did enjoy it except for the angsty part.
